Raja Saab was one of the most anticipated films of the Sankranti season. However, the film failed miserably at the box office, falling far short of expectations and leaving Prabhas’ fans deeply disappointed. Director Maruthi, who mounted the project on a grand scale, faced heavy criticism after its poor theatrical presentation.
After its theatrical release, the film started streaming on Jio Hotstar in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. However, the Hindi version was not available at the time, leaving fans eagerly waiting for an update.
Now, the Hindi version of The Raja Saab will reportedly premiere on Jio Hotstar on March 6, 2026. An official announcement from the platform is expected soon. It remains to be seen if the film will receive a better response from the Hindi-speaking audience after its OTT debut.
Apart from Prabhas in the lead role, The Raja Saab also stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar as the female leads. The supporting cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Zarina Wahab, Satya, Saptagiri and Boman Irani.
Produced on a grand scale by People Media Factory, this horror and fantasy entertainer features music composed by S. Thaman. Despite the setback at the box office, Prabhas has reportedly assured that he will collaborate with People Media Factory again in the future.
