 & more related news here

Was Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hit by an Iranian missile and drone attack? Netanyahu and his family have been the subject of wild rumors since US-Israeli airstrikes in Iran killed former Ayatollah Khamenei. Since the Iranian military suggested that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “may have been killed or wounded” in an alleged attack, Tehran media have been pushing theories about the Israeli leader’s whereabouts. The Iran-linked Tasnim news agency highlighted Netanyahu’s recent public disappearance, increased security around his residence and the sudden postponement of diplomatic trips, fueling global speculation about the Israeli leader’s safety.

Is Netanyahu dead?

As Iran has been launching a barrage of missiles and drones against Israel, claims about the assassination of Benjamin Netanyahu are going viral on social media. Recently, another series of viral posts claimed that Netanyahu’s brother, Iddo Netanyahu, was killed in an Iranian airstrike in Tel Aviv. Some publications also claimed that Israel’s Minister of National Security, Ben Gvir, was injured in the same airstrike.

But these claims are false since Benjamin Netanyahu or his brother Iddo have not been hit in an Iranian airstrike. Claims about Itamar Ben Gvir’s injury are also untrue amid a plethora of misinformation about the Iran war.

Is Netanyahu alive?

Yes, Benjamin Netanyahu is alive. Shortly after the attacks on Tehran reportedly killed Ali Khamenei, several social media posts began circulating claims (citing flight radar data) that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had secretly left Israel for Germany. At the same time, unverified rumors alleging that the Israeli leader had been assassinated also spread online.

Live events

However, these claims were quickly debunked by public appearances. Netanyahu was seen in Tel Aviv in the following days, visiting sites damaged during the attacks and attending official events. His most recent appearance was on Tuesday, March 9, at the port of Ashdod, Israel’s largest port, where he was seen alongside Israel’s Transportation Minister Miri Regev.

Netanyahu “conducted a professional tour and assessment on the continuity of Israel’s maritime trade amid Operation Roaring Lion,” reads an update on the Israeli Prime Minister’s official social media.

Brother Netanyahu News

Many social media posts also claimed that Iddo Netanyahu, Benjamin Netanyahu’s brother, was targeted and killed in an Iranian attack on Tel Aviv. The publications claimed that David Barnea, the head of the Mossad, and Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, were also attacked.

But these claims are false as no official report or update confirms that they were hit by Iranian airstrikes. Iddo Netanyahu is a doctor and author. Trained as a radiologist, he studied medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and later worked in the United States. In addition to medicine, he has written several plays and books.
