Starting April 3, 2026, the two teams will meet at Happy Valley Ground in Episkopi. It’s a tight schedule, with two games a day over a single weekend. While both sides are currently moving up the ICC rankings, this bilateral series offers a rare and vital opportunity to secure ranking points and build momentum for future World Cup qualifiers.

All six matches are scheduled for the Happy Valley Ground. If you plan to see it in person, please note that the venue is located within a British sovereign base area. You will need to register in advance on the Cyprus Cricket Federation website and bring your passport; It’s a bit like airport security, so don’t leave it to the last minute! The games will be broadcast live on FanCode in India and on ICC.tv globally.

Schedule:

April 3 (Friday): Match 1 (11:15 am) | Match 2 (15:30)

April 4 (Saturday): Game 3 (11:15 am) | Match 4 (15:30)

April 5 (Sunday): Game 5 (11:15 am) | Match 6 (15:30)

Cyprus comes into this series with plenty of wind in their favour, having dominated their recent tour of the Czech Republic. Keep an eye on Iresha Chathurani, who has been their batting mainstay, and Samanthi Dunukedeniya, a wicket-taking machine who has recently averaged almost two wickets a game.

On the Greek side, all eyes will be on Maria Syrioti. She holds the record for highest individual score and is exactly the kind of player who can take a game away from the opponent in just a few overs. Their bowling attack, led by Aggeliki Savvani (who made his name with 6 for 5 against Romania), will look to exploit the artificial mats in Happy Valley.

For teams outside the top tier, consistent playing time is everything. This series marks the first official meeting between these two boards of directors and, with no history of direct confrontations, the slate is clean. It is a chance for a new rivalry to be born and for the next generation of European cricketers to show what they can do.ICC.tv on a global level.
