On May 19, Evercore ISI analyst Mark Lipacis raised the company’s price target on Broadcom Inc. (NASDAQ: AVGO) to $582 from $490 and maintained an Outperform rating after conducting AI channel checks in the first quarter. The firm highlighted that AI workloads appear to be moving from a training-based regime to an inference-based model by the end of 2026, a transition that is increasingly focusing on cost per token, return on investment and total cost of ownership, while accelerating hyperscalers’ interest in custom ASICs and alternative accelerators, an area in which Broadcom is well positioned.
A day earlier, UBS analyst Timothy Arcuri raised the company’s price target for Broadcom Inc. (NASDAQ:AVGO) to $490 from $475, while maintaining a Buy rating on the stock. The company updated its model ahead of Broadcom’s second-quarter earnings report, adding to positive sentiment around the company’s infrastructure software business and AI semiconductor opportunities.
