One look at my cart this week and it’s clear that summer has officially arrived (or at least it’s right around the corner!). The color palette feels sun-kissed in deep oranges and moss greens, with little touches of fringe, wood and mesh that make everything feel more special up close. We’ve officially arrived at that time of year where I’m drawn to pieces that seem really simple but still have something charming about them.

For the little ones, it is warm weather pieces with ruffles, embroidery and crochet. The girls have been loving my seashell ornaments lately, so this DIY necklace-making kit felt like the perfect summer craft for the girls, something sweet they can make themselves.

For the home, I’m attracted to textures you can actually see and feel, especially in pieces that serve outdoor entertaining. Lunch by the pool has become the plan of choice these days, so anything with a woven edge or burst of color seems like the easiest way to give a tablescape an intentional feel.
