What did the exit poll predict?

According to exit polls, the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance is winning the BMC elections easily. Shiv Sena (UBT) -Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, going by the trend, is likely to lose ground. My Axis India poll showed that the BJP-Shiv Sena is expected to win between 131 and 151 seats. Shiv-Sena (UBT), NCP (SP) and MNS are likely to win 58-68 seats.

The counting of votes for the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation elections is underway.

As per early trends, out of 122 seats, BJP has won 22 and Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) is leading with 08 seats. Shiv Sena (UBT) has won 1 seat. Mukesh Sahane, who independently supports the saffron party, also won 1 seat.

Nashik is currently awaiting final results; According to the latest trends, the saffron party is leading with eight seats.
