Meg Lanning | Captain UPW-W: Yes, I think it was an excellent effort by our players to go that deep. I think it became more difficult to bat, especially when the pace of the ball was taken away, which we learned from Delhi’s bowling innings. And I thought they did extremely well. So, we felt we were in the game if we could bowl well. Yes, great team effort to go so deep. (knocking on door) Yeah, it was nice to get away for a bit. Yes, I would have liked to move on, but yes, it is always good to contribute. But yeah, I hope there are a few more in there too. (about retiring Harleen) Yeah, yeah, sure. You know, Chloe Tryon pushes the boundaries and we felt like we wanted to maximize that as much as we could. Harleen batted extremely well, but it was getting harder and harder to bat and I guess, you know, I got a little stuck towards the end, as did I. So we make a decision based on what’s best for the team. You know, unfortunately for Harleen, and that’s what happened today, but you know, stick with that decision. It didn’t work today, but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. But there was definitely a method behind it. (by Dottin’s omission) No, it was tactical. We felt like Chloe was a good matchup for a lot of these DC hitters. I think he did very well in his first WPL game. I thought she played a role for us. So that was the best matchup that we felt like, you know, would go well for this game. (about tomorrow’s game) Yes, I think so. There are still many positive things to take away from tonight. Obviously we need to work on some areas, which is always the case, but we have a little bit of confidence in how we finish the game. But yeah, I’m certainly looking forward to getting that first win tomorrow against a Mumbai team that, yes, certainly has some world-class players, but we’re looking forward to it.
