The MLS season will begin on Saturday, with Inter Miami the clear favorite, but many other teams looking to make a splash.
And here we are. It’s MLS season again. There is real physical football to worry about and 90 minutes of sport to play every week. Inter Miami won it last year and it seems like a good bet to do it again. They still have Lionel Messi, of course, and tons of talent around them. Historically, it is very difficult for MLS clubs to compete again, but Miami could do it.
Still, there are other contenders. LAFC has improved after a good run. The Vancouver Whitecaps continue to be well balanced and well coached. In the East, FC Cincinnati and Charlotte could also threaten. There are also many newcomers. Michael Bradley is here and now he will coach the New York Red Bulls. Timo Werner and James Rodríguez are great signings that will cause a sensation in teams looking to compete.
