Toney, 30, reached the milestone with a hat-trick in a 3-1 win over Al Fateh.

Their first two goals came from the spot before the third in the 91st minute to claim the match ball.

Toney has scored 30 goals in the Saudi Pro League, just under half of Al-Ahli’s league goals this season.

In total, he has scored 23 goals from open play and 16 from penalties, as well as one free kick in 46 appearances in all competitions.

Toney has also provided 10 assists and is the Saudi Pro League’s leading scorer heading into the last three games.

He has five more goals than Cristiano Ronaldo and is one ahead of Julián Quiñones in the race for the Golden Boot.

Despite his impressive form, Toney is unlikely to go to the World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the United States.

England coach Thomas Tuchel omitted the striker from his squad for the friendly matches against Uruguay and Japan.

This was despite choosing a massive 35-man team that included TEN forwards.

Toney was left out along with the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ollie Watkins and Danny Welbeck.

Bayern Munich star Harry Kane is the only Englishman to have had a more prolific season.

The former Tottenham ace has scored 55 goals and assisted seven more in just 48 appearances.

Toney last played for the Three Lions in a 3-1 defeat to Senegal in a friendly at the City Ground.

He marked his seventh and final cap for England with a two-minute cameo from the bench.

Despite playing seven times, Toney has only been on the field for 159 minutes and has scored one goal.

His only goal for England came in the only game he started, which was a 2-2 draw against Belgium in March 2024.
