Gold prices saw a rise in early deals on Friday. The gains came as US President Donald Trump claimed the conflict involving Iran was “resolved, it will be finalized” and said he expected a deal to be signed in the “next few days”.

Gold and silver prices rose with gains in precious metals on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).

Silver also saw a rise during the session. MCX silver futures remained bullish ₹at 2291 ₹₹2,43,720 per kg.

The rise in metal prices comes after several weeks of uncertainty due to conflicts between the US, Israel and Iran. Investors have been closely monitoring developments in the region, as geopolitical tensions often impact demand for assets like gold.

Speaking about the developments, the US President said the conflict has been resolved “subject to finalisation” and added that he expected an agreement to be signed “in the next few days”.

The comments have raised hopes that normal shipping operations through the Strait of Hormuz could resume if an agreement is reached.

However, investors are awaiting official confirmation and further developments regarding the proposed agreement. A potential agreement could alter the dramatic swings in the price of gold.
