It’s the most amazing device I’ve ever seen.” Instead, the team discovered an unexpected obstacle. “We found that it was more difficult for people to start a new proposal from scratch for the first time,” he said. To overcome that hurdle, the brokerage temporarily increased the number of staff to help prepare initial offers until models were fully trained and the workflow stabilized. “Change, adoption and figuring out why the technology isn’t skyrocketing was important,” Grassman said.
