Summer is almost here! The kids are out of school and we’re in the final stages of going home for most of the summer months. As excited as I am, there is a lot of preparation that goes into packing for both our family and my work. So most of my day-to-day is spent meeting deadlines before we leave! We will continue to work throughout our journey, but it is essential to prepare ahead of time to avoid falling behind in the beginning. Here’s a look at the month ahead!
what are we doing
- Before we leave I have two big design reviews, one for a collaboration launching later this fall and another launching before the holidays. Both are completely different and in different categories, so it’s fun to work on them together.
- We will be renovating our kitchen while we are away, so we need to pack everything ahead of time. I can’t wait to see it all come together in August!
- We are starting our summer trips in Paris. I’m looking forward to being back with the girls. Last time we were there their numbers were 1.5 and around 4, so this time it will be a completely different experience.
- We’ve booked all our Paris restaurants for next week! Here are some that we are featuring this time: Gigi, Le RenomĂ©, Le Grand CafĂ©, Le Bon Georges and Chez Janou.
- After Paris, we’re heading to Spain for a little over two weeks, traveling between Mallorca, Menorca and Marseille until the beginning of July. This is what I’m packing for Spain.
- We’re going to a concert with friends this week, and I’m wondering what to wear that is comfortable, cozy, and good for the summer. I think I’ll do like a mini This one Or This one with white tank top And sandals.
