There’s nothing like a friends-to-lovers trope, and when it comes to Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton, it’s been a long time coming.
The American reality star and the British F1 driver, who drives for Ferrari, have been friends for more than a decade, seen together in 2014. GQ Men of the Year Event, 2021 WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards and, most recently, at Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton debut in 2023. But lately, they seem to have taken their relationship to the next level: with a multi-country getaway filled with spa treatments and glamorous date nights.
Below, we break down everything we know about the alleged romance.
Kim and Lewis were first seen together in 2014.
The first photos of Kardashian and Hamilton were not, in fact, from their super-secret meeting in the countryside or their subsequent date night in Paris, but rather from the 2014 photo. They attended the ceremony with their respective partners at the time, Kanye West and Nicole Scherzinger, and were seen greeting each other with a friendly kiss on the cheek.
Both have been linked to high-profile relationships in the past.
In January, Kardashian joined her sister Khloé on her podcast. Khloé in wonderlandfor a candid conversation about your love life. At the time, she confirmed that she had not dated anyone for the past year, making it her longest period of single life.
In addition to her public marriage and divorce from West, the businesswoman has been linked to the likes of Nick Lachey, Kris Humphries (who might forget her 72-day marriage), and Pete Davidson.
Hamilton, likewise, was in a long-term relationship with his partner Scherzinger, after which he was seen with a handful of familiar faces, including Gigi Hadid, Rihanna, Sofia Richie, Shakira, and even Kardashian’s sister Kendall Jenner (although that was a decade ago).
Lewis is a family friend.
Long before their alleged romance, Hamilton began spending time with the entire Kardashian team. In 2015, he joined the family at Glastonbury to headline West, and in 2019, he was spotted alongside Kris Jenner on their home turf at the Monaco Grand Prix. More recently, it was Kendall who saw the racing driver in action, joining Hamilton at the Miami Grand Prix in 2024.
They were honored WSJ Innovator Magazine Awards.
“It is a great honor to be recognized among such a remarkable group of talent,” Hamilton wrote on Instagram after the WSJ Innovators Awards in 2021. She shared a photo with Kardashian, who was recognized at the event for her work with Skims, and greeted the founder along with fellow honorees Lil Nas X and Maya Lin.
Things turned romantic in 2026 with a getaway to the countryside…
After ringing in the New Year at the same party, Kate Hudson’s evening in Aspen, the couple was seen enjoying a relaxing weekend at Estelle Manor in the Cotswolds. Kardashian arrived with months’ worth of pink luggage (eight suitcases, to be exact), and according to the sunShe and Hamilton had exclusive access to the hotel’s spa facilities and pool. Their source said the trip “seemed very romantic” and that they booked a couples massage and had dinner in a private room.
And it continued with a glamorous Parisian date night.
While neither Kardashian nor Hamilton shared photos of their spa weekend, the reality star did Posting your next date night: Paris. Although she kept her romance a secret, she shared some brilliant shots of the Eiffel Tower from the Rooftop of Aqua Kyoto, where she supposedly spent the night having dinner with her new boyfriend. For the special occasion, the star wore a sheer lace catsuit and a long black coat, designed by Dani Levi.
