In my experience, buying the right pair of white denim can be difficult. I can’t stand it when the fabric is too see-through, has too much or too little stretch, or isn’t quite the right shade of white. Jeans are a tricky category – they already have to be *perfect* for you to love them. Now add the variable of white and it gets even more difficult. not to worry! Today I’m breaking down six of my favorite pairs of white denim for spring (well I cheated one of them is tan)! PS I wore these yesterday.

thin wide
These are the white jeans I wear most often. I like them for the following reasons: They have a high waist, show off the ankle a bit, and provide just the right amount of stretch. Bonus points for being such a great shade of white and thick enough, hence the void! Buy them here.
great fit
I love this fit because it feels so fresh for spring. I initially ordered them without knowing if they would be for me, but I’m loving them with a boxy tee or fitted tank. They are listed as barrel, but personally I think they are a more comfortable fit. FYI, one of the only pairs on this list that I’m styling with a belt! Buy them here.
a tan option
I cheated. I know! Although these are not white, I wanted to offer an ecru or tan option for those of you who are not into white Love White denim. The Lexi is one of my all-time favorite denim fits. It features a relaxed fit with a slight crop, and no stretch. 10/10, no notes. Buy it here.
patch pocket denim
With a high rise fit block that mimics traditional trousers, these jeans can easily be dressed up or down. These have 1% stretch and feel a little more rigid, which feels perfect for the style. Buy them here.
straight crop
Many people think of Veronica Beard for her incredible blazers, but don’t pay attention to her denim offerings! This is a perfect example. Great white colour, mid rise and ample leg room. Buy them here.
a modest barrel
Although I adore barrel jeans, my preference is only for *slight* barrels. These fit the bill! With slant pockets and a raw hem they take the ‘most casual’ spot of the bunch. Perfect with retro sneakers and a striped sweater or loafers and a cable sweater. Buy them here.
