Ecuadorian defender Piero Hincapié was elected Player of the Month for February at Arsenal FC, after winning the vote among the fans of the English club.

The tricolor defender, who joined the London team in September 2025 from Bayer Leverkusen on loan, obtained around 65% of the votes, surpassing other players in the squad such as Viktor Gyökeres, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke.

During the month of February, Hincapié played five games, in which he scored a goal and an assist, in addition to providing defensive solidity in several matches for the team led by Mikel Arteta.

The defender was also key in important matches, including matches where Arsenal managed to keep a clean sheet, especially standing out in demanding duels such as the confrontation against Chelsea FC in the League Cup and other matches against English league rivals.

In addition to his defensive performance, the Ecuadorian showed his versatility, alternating positions as central defender and left back, establishing himself as an important piece in the structure of the London team.

The recognition represents his first award as Player of the Month at Arsenal, in the middle of a process where his continuity at the club could be finalized with a definitive purchase close to 52 million euros.
