Fashion Bomb Daily was present at the Georges Hobeika Couture Fall/Winter 2026/27 presentation in Paris, where the Lebanese house unveiled a collection titled “The Visitor.” Guests in attendance included Emmy Award-winning actress Sheryl Lee Ralph, fashion editor and style icon Anna Dello Russo and Claire Sulmers, founder and CEO of Fashion Bum Daily.

Inspired by James McCrae’s poem “Instructions Before Coming to Earth”, the collection focuses on a singular idea: seeing the world as a visitor would – with fresh eyes, open hands, and an awareness of its fleeting beauty. Artistic directors Georges and Zad Hobeika, father and son, translated that philosophy into a wardrobe of exceptional craftsmanship, entirely crafted in their workshops in Beirut and Paris.
Blue dominated the palette, moving between earthy tones, sky blue and deep sea hues, tempered by beige – a house signature – ranging from mint to pine with touches of pink and subtle green. The house’s signature embroidery techniques expanded into intricate motifs imprinted with iridescent beads and a glass-like, almost liquid finish. Lace, the collection’s favorite material, was intertwined with satin, silk and organza, giving each piece an ethereal quality that balanced strength with femininity.

The silhouettes ranged from flowing columns and sculptural bustiers to draped evening gowns and precisely tailored jackets that bridged day and evening dressing. Nature reclaimed its place in the details: beetle-shaped earrings in silver and gold, snails and blooming orchids, worn close to the skin, became wearable pieces of the living world.

The result was a collection that felt both intimate and gorgeous – a love letter to hand-crafted beauty, and a reminder to hold it without holding it in.
