PUBG: 9th Anniversary
Hello players!
PUBG turns 9 years old and it’s time to jump and celebrate with us. Thank you to all the players who have supported Battlegrounds over the past nine years! Through countless battles, victories, and unforgettable moments, you have made PUBG what it is today. Now, all those moments come together when the battlefields become a celebration. Come get ready and be part of the party!
Party on the battlefields
A special 9th anniversary statue awaits you on the starting island!
Before the match starts, throw a holographic stun grenade at the statue. After a certain number of successful hits, the statue will transform into your character’s appearance.

The 9th Anniversary Character Statue and Holographic Stun Grenade can be found on the starting island of all maps.

Look at the sky! A spectacular drone show will illuminate the battlefield to celebrate PUBG’s ninth anniversary, adding even more sparkle to the festivities.

Celebrate the 9th Anniversary in Rondo
Experience the festive atmosphere throughout Rondo!

A mysterious Chicken Man has been seen all over Rondo. Hunt down the runaway chicken man and get a lucky egg as a reward.

Spin, spin, spin in the 9th Anniversary Giveaway! In addition to defeating Chicken Man, Lucky Eggs can also be obtained randomly through the 9th Anniversary Giveaway. The 9th Anniversary Giveaway can be found at all three of Rondo’s 9th Anniversary Pop-Up Stores, so be sure to stop by and spin!

Lucky Egg allows you to obtain a random item from a total of thirteen, including weapons, level 3 equipment, and a special 9th Anniversary Ghillie Suit (group).

To commemorate the anniversary, containers and care packages have been specially decorated throughout Rondo.

Fixed an issue where Smoke Grenade’s smoke color would abruptly change depending on the character’s position.

Fixed an issue where viewing an AI party emote on the starting island would not end correctly, causing the emote’s background music to continue playing after the AI stopped.

Fixed an issue where placing an emergency van in gaps in the terrain would place it below the surface and not call the plane.

Fixed an issue where playing your own emote while ‘Join/View Group Emote’ with another player’s emote would cause both emotes to play simultaneously.
