Johanna Ortiz top and pants, Chanel bag, Sylvia Furmanovich necklace (similar here and here), Kashura flats (last seen here, more colors here)
It’s that time of year when tropical pieces start to make sense again, something you’ll want in rotation for changes in weather and setting.
I always return to a few designers who consistently approach it well – Johanna Ortiz, Etro, Pucci, Cala de la Cruz. Each has a different approach, but there is a shared precision in how prints are handled.

What stands out is the placement and scale. Motifs follow the line of the body in the draped skirt, halter neckline and relaxed tailoring. The prints feel integrated into the shape rather than sitting on top of it.
The palette leans darker than expected in black, rust, olive, saturated blue with sharp notes of orange and yellow. This gives the pieces more range and makes them easier to wear beyond a beach setting.
