Hello from NYC! I decided to mix and match this fun thing, pairing it with casual sandals and balloon pants. I packed several items for this trip with the intention of styling them differently from previous looks. For example, I wore the same maxi top here earlier this month! It also looks great with jeans and recently I’ve been wearing it again with a pencil skirt and chartreuse heels.
Coming back to NYC always makes me feel nostalgic. The sounds, the sights and especially, all things moving. I really miss living in a walkable city! The ability to step out your door and visit a local coffee shop, visit a fab store, or see remarkable public art is such a beautiful thing. I miss this city the most. Of course, I also miss my friends and all my favorite restaurants. The weather has been perfect, very nice and sunny in NYC this week, and a welcome respite from the heat and humidity in Florida. It makes me miss city life even more!
This week has been filled with shoots, lunches with clients, opening a few new stores, and reconnecting with many friends who I miss so much. I’m super excited about some of the projects we’ve been discussing this week that are coming up for the fall and holidays – stay tuned!
