Neftchi discovers possible rivals in the UEFA Conference League qualification & more related news here

The Baku team has learned much of its possible rival ahead of the draw for the first qualifying round of the 2026/27 UEFA Conference League.

As reported by İdman.BizNeftchi PFK will reach the UEFA Conference League from the first qualifying round after taking fourth place in the Misli Premier League with one match left.

The Azerbaijani club, which has a UEFA coefficient of 6,500, is expected to be among the seeds for the first qualifying round. As a result, Neftchi has already discovered 17 of its 26 potential opponents ahead of the draw scheduled for June 16.

Possible rivals currently include Liepāja, Ilves, Inter Turku, UE Santa Coloma, Connah’s Quay Nomads, Penybont, Caernarfon Town, Bohemians, Stjarnan, Europa FC, Malisheva, Yelimay, Hegelmann, Runavík, Glentoran, Marsaxlokk and Nõmme Kalju.

Neftchi officially confirmed their place in next season’s competition after guaranteeing a top-four finish in the domestic league. The matches of the first qualifying round will be played on July 9 and 16.
