According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by gusts or temporary winds and lightning, are likely to occur in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours starting from 9:00 am today.
The Met Office said many places in Mymensingh, Dhaka, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions are expected to experience rain, while some areas in Rangpur, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions may also experience similar weather conditions.
Moderate to very heavy rain is likely to occur at places over Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, the forecast added.
Daytime and nighttime temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
